all coral everything

Coral is easily one of my favorite colors, and I give it a lot of attention during the warmer months. Why, do you ask? Although I don’t sun bathe, and rarely take the time to use self-tanner, coral is a surprisingly neutral pop of color best used in the summer, ESPECIALLY when you’re typically your tannest. Coral comes in all shapes and sizes (you know what I mean), so find the shade that works best for your skin tone, or home aesthetic, and run with it! I have found that warmer, borderline terracotta corals work very well for fair skin, while tanner and darker skin tones rock the brighter and neon variations.

What’s more summery than a coral sun dress atop bronzed (natural or bottled), glowing skin? Not much. Depending on your skin’s undertone and deepness of tan (or lack thereof, in my case), throw on a coral or terracotta separate, whether it’s a dress, top, bottom or accessory.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again – there’s nothing better than shades of coral when you’re a bronzed goddess (or just showing your endless love for summer fashion), relating equally to clothing AND beauty. I’ve always been a fan of the NUDESTIX Allover Face Color in In The Nude as a natural blush color, but I go in with a heavier hand during the warmer months for a nice coral flush. Eyes, lips and nails are three other great place to incorporate the perfect Summer shade. Anything that claims it’s a ’10 second product’ has my vote, so you’ll see the new Kosas eyeshadow below, along with some other incredible seasonal beauty picks.

Coral isn’t just a fashion and beauty staple – it’s a great way to freshen up your home as well! Change out pillows and throws, try a new rug, or sprinkle in some accessories like trays and candles for an energized room makeover!
